You can start your apprenticeship in automotive technology in various specializations, each with its own focus. Automotive mechatronics technician for system and high-voltage technology: work with state-of-the-art technology on hybrid and electric vehicles, test systems, diagnose faults and repair them. Automotive mechatronics technician for commercial vehicles: focus on large vehicles; learn to maintain commercial vehicles, test systems and rectify malfunctions. Automotive mechatronics technician for passenger cars: focus on maintenance, diagnostics and repair of passenger cars.
