Electronics Technician for Operating Technology Apprenticeship

Electronics technicians take on interesting and important tasks: they plan, install, modify, and maintain energy supply systems, control, regulation, and drive technology equipment, signaling and lighting systems. During the regular 3.5-year apprenticeship, you will learn, among other things: assembly and connection of electrical equipment; measurement and analysis of electrical functions and systems; assessment of safety of electrical installations and equipment; installation and commissioning of electrical installations and systems.

At least a secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss) with good knowledge of mathematics, physics, and English; technical school education (e.g., vocational school for electrical engineering, basic vocational year in electrical engineering, technical secondary school, technical grammar school, or training as an electrical engineering assistant) to shorten the apprenticeship to 2.5 years with good performance in mathematics, physics, and English; logical thinking; strong teamwork skills and willingness to perform.
