Apprenticeship Industrial Mechanic, Offshore Division; Papenburg / Oldenburg Region Starting 1 September 2027

The apprenticeship provides technical skills and allows you to help shape Germany's energy transition. The three-and-a-half-year practical training takes place at MEYER WERFT in Papenburg, in service groups in northern Lower Saxony and later on offshore converter platforms in the North Sea.

Assembling, dismantling, installing and repairing machines and production equipment; following occupational safety, health and environmental protection requirements; supporting daily operations and learning through practical work; working in service groups and on offshore converter platforms; planning and carrying out independent projects; attending seminars and training sessions.

Interest in technical issues; problem-solving skills and practical ability; willingness to learn, curiosity and teamwork; at least an intermediate school-leaving qualification with good grades in mathematics and science, especially physics.
