Lead Plant Technology Worker

TKMS is one of the leading, globally operating system providers in the design and construction of submarines and naval surface ships as well as maritime security technologies. We are looking for a lead plant technology worker at the Kiel site. Full-time, permanent.

• Coordinate a cross-functional team together with the foreman
• Professional leadership of employees (work supervision, staff deployment planning, schedule and budget monitoring)
• Monitoring and control of pipe and cable systems, circuit diagrams, terminal diagrams, parts lists, cable pulling lists, pipe schematics etc.
• Material coordination and testing of cables and components according to test instructions with quality assurance
• Ensuring occupational safety and documentation in your area of responsibility
• Responsibility for preparing the work including worker deployment planning

• Completed vocational training as an electronics technician for machines and drive technology or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in outfitting submarine sections or a comparable activity
• Sound knowledge of electrical installations and cable laying as well as confident application of technical regulations
• Team spirit, a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to take on leadership responsibility for a team
• High flexibility including willingness to work shifts and the ability to adapt quickly to changing work areas
• Ideally a class B driving licence or similar
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
