Trainee Industrial Management Assistants

TKMS, with sites in Kiel, Bremen, Hamburg, Wismar, Emden, Flintbek, Wilhelmshaven and Wedel, is a leading global systems provider for the design and construction of submarines and naval surface ships as well as maritime security technologies. During training you will get to know all commercial and business administration departments of TKMS Hagenuk Marinekommunikation (e.g. purchasing, sales, financial accounting, HR, project management). You will actively participate in various business processes – from obtaining quotes to invoice verification and support of national and international clients. Early on you will take on small projects of your own to assume responsibility, contribute ideas and develop organisational skills.

Familiarisation with all commercial and business administration departments (purchasing, sales, financial accounting, HR, project management); Active participation in business processes (obtaining quotes, invoice verification, national/international client support); Taking on own small projects to develop responsibility and organisational skills.

Intermediate secondary school certificate with good grades or technical/university entrance qualification; Very good German and good English skills, written and spoken; Interest in business contexts and organisational processes; Enjoy teamwork and contributing creativity to varied tasks; First experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) desirable.
