Alongside the apprenticeship, you will complete the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (m/f/d) at Bochum University of Applied Sciences. The standard period of study is 9 semesters. Core contents of the degree program are: Constructive Civil Engineering, Design and Representation, Structural Mechanics, Construction Methods and Surveying, Building Materials and Building Physics, Geotechnics and Environmental Engineering, Construction Economics and Construction Law. After successful completion of the apprenticeship and studies, challenging and varied tasks in the planning and execution of projects in industrial large-scale plant construction with good future prospects await you.

You create masonry from various materials such as reinforced concrete parts, mortar and concrete mixtures, etc. You learn to build shaped brick vaults and chimneys. You determine the need for installation and assembly of prefabricated parts. You operate various machines and devices. You learn to analyze and read drawings. You document your work and results.

You have a completed technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) or general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur). You have good English language skills. You have basic PC skills and first experience with MS Office? That's perfect, but not a must. After all, you learn with us. You are willing to undertake temporary worldwide assignments, are sociable, motivated to learn independent work, and are reliable and resilient to support your future team in the best possible way. You hold a class B driver's license (for cars)? That would be perfect but is not a must.

Numerous health and further training measures as well as regulated working hours, an attractive collectively agreed apprenticeship remuneration of 1,122 € (gross) in the first, 1,395 € (gross) in the second, and 1,719 € (gross) in the third apprenticeship year as well as in the study phase round off our offer. In addition to the monthly remuneration, you will receive capital-forming benefits, a 13th month salary, and holiday pay. You will also receive your own notebook.
