Working Student Production FBA 8 – Hot-Dip Coating Line 8

Working student role in production of hot-dip coating line 8 at thyssenkrupp Steel in Dortmund, part-time and fixed-term.

• Close cooperation with the FBA 8 production teams to improve plant availability, process stability and product quality
• Active support in day-to-day production
• Helping analyze production and maintenance data (e.g. causes of faults, plant conditions, process parameters) and derive improvement measures
• Responsible participation in improvement projects
• Insights into all main areas of hot-dip coating: hot-dip process, annealing line / heat treatment, surface inspection & quality processes, production logistics

• You are successfully studying industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, production management or a comparable technical field
• Very strong interest in production-related work, technical processes and plant operation
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational talent and ability to connect technical and economic matters
• You are confident, can assert yourself and communicate clearly, with both engineers and shift staff
• Teamwork, flexibility and resilience, especially in a dynamic production environment
• Good MS Office skills
• Enthusiasm for our processes
