About this Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship at the toom DIY store in Pfungstadt starting on 1 August 2027. Sales Assistant training lasts two years, while Retail Salesperson training lasts three years. You will gain experience in different departments and prepare for your exams through seminars and specialist training.
What You'll Learn
- Rotate through different departments and be the first point of contact for customers.
- Give advice, learn about the products and have the right tools and materials ready.
- Take responsibility for your own projects and contribute your ideas.
- Continue developing through apprentice seminars and specialist training to prepare thoroughly for your exams.
- During the two-year Sales Assistant apprenticeship, learn about customer advice, merchandise presentation, till duties and daily store operations.
- During the three-year Retail Salesperson apprenticeship, also deepen your business knowledge, take responsibility for your own projects and develop your sales skills.

- A strong interest in our DIY store products
- At least a lower secondary school leaving certificate
