About this Apprenticeship
Part-time position with 140 hours per month at toom, part of the REWE Group, with more than 300 stores nationwide and around 18,000 employees. Respect, mutual appreciation and support come first.
What You'll Learn
- Friendly and competent advice and creating goods orders for our customers
- Fulfilling our service mindset and focusing on customers' wishes
- Taking responsibility for placing products and promotional goods in your sales area
- Carrying out price labeling and putting up signage
- Making decisions within your scope of action, e.g. for complaints, and contributing assortment ideas
Requirements
- Experience in retail, e.g. as a retail/wholesale merchant (m/f/d), sales assistant, customer advisor, or in a trade, e.g. as a carpenter, electrician, heating/plumbing installer, or as a career changer from another industry
- Interest in our hardware store range and ideally experience as a DIY enthusiast
- Enjoyment of direct contact with customers and selling our products, plus strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- Organizational skills, e.g. for independently prioritizing and structuring day-to-day business
- Openness to using digital tools and merchandise management systems
