Trainee as Warehouse Specialist

During your apprenticeship, you will learn the various operational processes and departments at Transgourmet: warehouse and logistics processes, goods receipt, maintaining the cold chain, careful packing, replenishment/shelf maintenance.

You assemble customer orders with the picking device onto roll containers and prepare them for dispatch. You receive deliveries, check quantity and quality, post goods into the system, and store them correctly. You pick separately for dry, chilled, and frozen goods and monitor temperatures. You pack securely and protect goods (heavy items at bottom, fragile on top). You report or refill empty slots so that shelves and picking run smoothly.

Accuracy: You find the right item and pick exactly the ordered quantity. Speed with overview: You work quickly and conscientiously in the warehouse. Care in packing: You avoid damage, leaks, and mixing (e.g., raw/ready-to-eat goods). Physical resilience: You are fit for lots of walking, lifting, and pushing roll containers. Friendly demeanor: You enjoy working with others, are helpful, and contribute to a good working atmosphere.
