Apprentice as a Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management Clerk

Transgourmet supplies professional wholesale customers with food, non-food products and services. In this apprenticeship, you combine sales and organisation, advise business customers and work with sales and logistics.

• Supporting business customers, such as those in catering, hotels and canteens, by telephone and email
• Preparing quotations, calculating prices, finding suitable products or alternatives, and supporting inventory planning
• Coordinating delivery times with logistics and scheduling
• Learning about and coordinating warehouse and logistics processes such as goods receipt, order picking and shipping
• Handling questions, complaints and shortages and finding quick solutions
• Working with revenue, contribution margin and other figures to help develop customers and sales

• You enjoy contact with people, take a solution-oriented approach and remain friendly even in stressful situations
• You can keep track of many orders at the same time and work in a structured way
• You understand price and quantity calculations as well as basic figures
• You are comfortable with merchandise management systems and digital processes and may already have knowledge of common office applications
• You are willing to discuss terms and find good solutions
• You want to get to know the product range, customer groups and processes, including warehousing and logistics
