Working Student in R&D User Interfaces & User Experience (SS27)

Get started at TRUMPF while you study: take on exciting projects, contribute your ideas and work closely with experienced colleagues. Besides individual support, you can expect many offers made especially for students. Start: summer semester 2027, duration: 6 months.

• As part of the design team, you create operating concepts and mockups and develop them into simple prototypes and click dummies
• By carrying out user studies, usability evaluations and user research, you identify the context of use and specific user requirements
• In close cooperation with the team, you continuously develop and test our style guide
• With your eye for detail, you evaluate icons and contribute to a consistent user experience
• When designing new solutions, you contribute your own ideas and gain practical experience in the entire UX/UI development process

• A degree in engineering psychology, user experience design, media design, graphic design, communication design, computer science, business informatics, media informatics or a comparable field forms your academic foundation
• You bring first practical experience in user interface design and with common design and prototyping tools such as Figma
• You also have basic knowledge of using AI tools and AI-assisted coding and prototyping
• You are confident with MS Office and have good German and English skills in speech and writing
• With your quick grasp and strong communication skills, you master new tasks reliably and with great commitment
