About this Apprenticeship
Permanent, full-time with 39 hours per week, with willingness to regularly take on on-call duty, pay based on AVR-C 6b. In the endoscopy department of UKM Marienhospital you support endoscopic examinations and therapeutic procedures and contribute to safe, high-quality patient care.
What You'll Learn
- Assisting with endoscopic examinations and therapeutic procedures
- Proper preparation and follow-up of the examination rooms as well as the endoscopes and instruments
- Support in ensuring high-quality care and treatment for our patients
- Documentation and quality assurance in endoscopic diagnostics and therapy
- Compliance with hygiene and medical standards in endoscopy
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors, nursing professionals and other departments
Requirements
- Completed training as a medical assistant (MFA) (gn*)
- Ideally professional experience in endoscopy
- Desirable: proven knowledge of radiation protection under § 24 RöV or willingness to complete it
- Certificate of competence for reprocessing endoscopes or willingness to obtain it soon
- Qualification certificate according to the S3 guideline on sedation in gastrointestinal endoscopy or willingness to obtain it soon
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility and a structured way of working
- Empathetic and service-oriented approach to our patients
