Optometrist / Clinic and Polyclinic for Ophthalmology

To strengthen the team of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Ophthalmology, an experienced optometrist (f/m/d) is sought as soon as possible, full-time (40 hours/week), initially fixed-term for two years with the possibility of a permanent contract, paid according to TV-L (EG 11).

• Establishing digital patient management
• Coordinating outpatient surgeries and special consultation hours with the help of IT
• Caring for patients during (pre-)examinations and before and after surgeries
• Performing diagnostics on patients during special consultation hours
• Cooperating with and substituting for the coordination of inpatient admissions
• Contributing to the planning, conduct and documentation of clinical studies

• Completed degree in optics or completed master's degree in optometry & completed training as an optician
• Experience working with patients in a practice or clinic setting
• Enjoyment of working with people and an empathetic, reliable manner
• Experience with specialist diagnostics
• Experience with hospital information systems and electronic data processing
• Very good German skills, spoken and written (C1 level for non-native speakers)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, reliability
