Medical Technologist / MTA / MTLA / BTA / CTA / Bachelor of Life Science, Hematology Laboratory

The Laboratory for Specialized Hematological Diagnostics operates at the interface between translational research and specialized care for hematological neoplasms. The position supports the diagnosis of hematological systemic diseases and is initially limited to two years, with an option to extend. Additional qualifications in molecular genetics, cytomorphology and flow cytometry can be acquired.

• Analyze, plausibility-check and evaluate sample measurements from routine diagnostics and clinical studies
• Contribute to methodological development using modern technologies
• Record and document laboratory requests and analyses in the laboratory information system
• Maintain and service analytical equipment
• Carry out and continuously develop workplace-specific quality management

• Completed training as an MTL, MTLA, BTA or CTA, a completed bachelor's degree in life sciences, or comparable training with laboratory experience
• Strong interest in diagnosing leukemia and lymphoma
• Confident use of standard IT tools and laboratory software
• Very good spoken and written German, at least level C
• Independent and responsible working style and enjoyment of teamwork
