Nurse Pediatric Cardiology

General ward and IMC ward C.216 Pediatric Cardiology with an adult congenital heart disease area at UKSH Kiel. You care for children and young people with congenital and acquired heart disease, from diagnosis and therapy to stabilizing monitoring, in close interdisciplinary teamwork. Start at the earliest possible date on a permanent contract.

• Holistic care of children, young people and adults with congenital heart defects
• Helping with diagnostic and therapeutic measures and accompanying the course of treatment
• A structured, individual induction by experienced colleagues
• Close interdisciplinary cooperation with the medical service, therapists and other professional groups
• Active involvement in developing nursing processes and quality standards

• A completed training as a qualified nurse (with or without a pediatric focus), or as a health and nurse (GKP) or health and pediatric nurse (GKKP)
• Sense of responsibility, empathy and joy in working with children
• Strong communication skills when dealing with parents and relatives
• Interest in interdisciplinary work and clinical development
• Flexibility for work in a 3-shift system and the usual working hours in your area
