Physiotherapist

The Centre for Integrative Psychiatry seeks a full-time physiotherapist to start as soon as possible in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry. The workplace is on the hospital grounds at Niemannsweg 147 in Kiel. You will work in a team of different healthcare professionals and alongside five other colleagues in your field.

• Varied work in a team of different healthcare professionals
• Independently provide individual and group therapies with different treatment focuses
• Provide physiotherapy for patients with mental health conditions, such as depression or anxiety disorders
• Use body-based treatments such as movement therapy, relaxation techniques and body awareness exercises
• Create individual treatment plans in close cooperation with the team of different healthcare professionals
• Lead and run group sessions, such as exercise or stress management groups
• Develop patients' movement skills and their physical, mental and social abilities
• Document the progress of therapy

• State-recognised physiotherapist, ideally with experience of conditions affecting children, adolescents and adults
• Teamwork, flexibility and strong communication skills
• Ability to use body-based therapies alongside physiotherapy treatment approaches
• Confidence in carrying out physiotherapy assessments, planning treatment and using assessment tools
• Interest in developing modern physiotherapy approaches at the hospital
