About this Apprenticeship
Start an apprenticeship as a toolmaker (m/f/d) in August 2027 at our plant in Wittlich. During training you can apply the theory learned at vocational school in day-to-day company work.
What You'll Learn
- You make punching tools, bending devices or casting and injection molds
- You make metal or plastic parts
- You work metal (drilling, milling, turning, grinding, filing and sawing)
- You check the dimensional accuracy of workpieces
- You program and use CNC-controlled tools
- You assemble and test individual parts of tools
- You create reports and acceptance records of test results
- You maintain and repair damaged tool parts
Requirements
- Good lower or intermediate secondary school certificate
- Good knowledge of mathematics and physics
- Careful working
- Manual skill
- Knowledge of crafts and technology as well as technical drawing
- High willingness to learn and interest in the chosen profession
