Apprenticeship as Bank Clerk

Apprenticeship start: 1 August 2027 | Duration: 2.5 years. Like hardly any other banking group, the Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken fill specialist and management positions from their own ranks. We therefore rely on the performance of our employees. Our success depends largely on the knowledge, skills, and motivation of our employees. Intensive further training is therefore the basis for our – and your – future success.

Advising customers on all financial matters according to our cooperative advisory philosophy. Typical advisory areas include: asset & investment management, lending business, as well as account management and payment transactions. During the apprenticeship, you will rotate through various branches and departments, learning both private and corporate customer business as well as internal departments at our administrative headquarters.

Technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) or general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur). Customer orientation, enjoyment of working with people, strong communication skills, confident and self-assured demeanor, team spirit, and interest in economic topics.

Apprenticeship remuneration from 01.08.2026 according to the collective agreement of the Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken: 1st year: €1,443.00; 2nd year: €1,504.00; 3rd year: €1,576.00. iPad for vocational school. Access to the online learning platform Prüfungs.tv. Inter-company training at our Cooperative Academy. Close supervision by training mentors in the departments.
