Apprenticeship as a Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Systems Mechanic

During the apprenticeship, you will learn to handle modern tools, measuring equipment and materials safely and precisely, as well as install, maintain and repair plumbing, heating and air-conditioning systems.

Learn to handle tools, measuring equipment and materials safely and precisely; install sinks, showers, toilets and complete sanitary systems under supervision; understand modern energy-efficient heating, air-conditioning and ventilation technology; professionally maintain, inspect and repair heating and sanitary systems; support the team with repair and service work; accompany technicians on modernisation, new-build and conversion projects; gradually learn the full range of the trade and the day-to-day work of a systems mechanic.

Successfully completed lower secondary school certificate or preferably an intermediate secondary school certificate; strong practical skills; keen interest in technical relationships; motivation and interest in varied tasks on changing construction sites; good knowledge of mathematics and physics; reliability, teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility; willingness to learn; friendly, polite and service-oriented manner.
