Lawyer: Legal Policy Matters in Life Insurance

Württembergische Lebensversicherung AG is seeking a fully qualified lawyer in Kornwestheim in the greater Stuttgart area to work on fundamental legal issues in life insurance. As part of the legal team, you will help develop legally sound, practical solutions for private retirement provision.

• Legal review: Examine legal questions concerning private retirement provision and related areas, and independently develop solutions based on legislation, case law, administrative practice and legal literature.
• Regulatory analysis: Analyse new requirements arising from legislation, national and European case law and regulation, and develop practical recommendations.
• Process design: Design and ensure the quality of clear, legally sound processes and documents, such as advice and sales processes, consumer information and contract documents.
• Project work: Contribute your legal expertise to varied projects, including the design of new life insurance products.
• Liaison: Act as a link between different partner departments and take responsibility for a broad range of tasks.
• Management support: Support management on legal matters concerning life insurance, including preparing papers to support decisions.

• Qualifications: You have successfully completed a law degree and are a fully qualified lawyer. Initial experience in life insurance is helpful but not required.
• Business mindset: You are particularly strong at thinking commercially and working independently.
• Enjoying complexity: You enjoy complex legal questions and challenging tasks.
