In your apprenticeship as a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade management at our branch, you support sales in customer care and learn how successful customer relationships develop. You also ensure a smooth flow of goods. During your three- or two-and-a-half-year apprenticeship, you attend vocational school once or twice a week. Start: 01 August 2027. Duration: regularly 3 years, shortening to 2.5 years possible with prior technical college entrance qualification/general higher education entrance qualification. Location: Giessen. What you will learn with us: Insights: At the sales branch as the central training location, you receive qualified vocational training with a focus on sales. You will be comprehensively integrated into our sales processes and engage in daily direct exchange with our customers. You also gain insights into our automated supply systems, such as our KANBAN system and ORSY®mat vending machines. Furthermore, you will get to know the company through multi-week department rotations at the corporate headquarters in Bad Mergentheim, particularly in purchasing and logistics. Responsibility: You work independently on tasks in the department, are in direct contact with our customers, and work closely with various departments. Collaboration: We support you in your tasks and foster your professional and personal development through regular feedback meetings. You will be supervised by your trainer at all times.

Support sales in customer care; ensure smooth goods flow; onboarding into sales processes; daily direct customer contact; insights into automated supply systems (KANBAN, ORSY®mat); multi-week department rotations at headquarters (purchasing, logistics); independent task handling in department; direct customer contact; close collaboration with various departments; regular feedback meetings.

Education: You have completed school with at least a lower secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss). Motivation: You enjoy learning new things and like working in a team and on varied tasks. Office work and contact with employees and customers are enjoyable for you. Your strengths: You are characterized by a reliable and committed work style.

Security: We offer flexible working hours and high takeover chances into a typically permanent employment relationship. Additionally, you have 30 days of vacation. For social engagement, you can take 2 days per year paid leave. Further training: We do everything to ensure you can develop and unfold individually – from thorough onboarding in teams to targeted internal training series specifically for apprentices. Additionally, there are over 200 e-learnings enabling flexible learning directly at the workplace. After the apprenticeship, there is the opportunity for part-time further education (certified specialist, bachelor, etc.).
