Facility Manager (Deputy Lead Building Technology)

As Facility Manager (Deputy Lead) you are responsible for the legally compliant operation of the site regarding building equipment and coordinate external service providers. You have an excellent technical understanding and ensure smooth processes in logistics and functioning building technology in general through close cooperation with all operationally relevant departments. Your work is characterized by a motivating team spirit based on appreciation, respect, and openness. • Ensure the legally compliant operation of the site regarding building equipment and ensure seamless documentation.
• Implement new systems, equipment, and conversions into the CAFM system and create decision bases for repair and retrofit measures.
• Ensure that external service providers fulfill their contractual services and all work preparations for your team are carried out on time. Through your pronounced stakeholder management, you win partners for yourself and work successfully with external service providers and suppliers.
• Work closely with other departments such as Security, Purchasing, Finance, IT, or Material Flow Technology to ensure smooth processes in all areas as best as possible.

• You have completed a technical apprenticeship, for example as an electrical master. In the area of facility and maintenance management as well as specific regulations regarding technical operation and occupational safety, you are trained and certified. You also apply CAFM systems confidently.
• You have advanced technical skills and extensive experience in facility management (e.g., planning, commissioning, status monitoring of all running systems, documentation, normative and legal requirements, lease contracts including SLA monitoring).
• You already have experience in leading employees, creating work instructions, work preparation, scheduling, documentation, and CAFM management and in dealing with external service providers.
• You identify and effectively coordinate with external stakeholders, build business relationships, argue from the stakeholders' perspective, and successfully solve problems with them.
• You actively shape the success of your team and are an important contact person. With your communication skills, you convey your expertise understandably, sustainably, and adapted to the knowledge level of your colleagues.
• Your good German language skills in word and writing as well as your oral English skills at B1 level facilitate communication in the team.
