Process Manager Logistics

As a Process Manager (all genders), you actively contribute to increasing and ensuring our warehouse processes at the new logistics centre in Gießen and analyse further optimisation and improvement potential using static process tools. You work closely with various departments to ensure smooth operations and that all processes are designed efficiently and cost-effectively. By implementing best practices and innovative solutions, you help increase productivity and continuously improve the quality of our services. You also monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and create regular reports to document the progress of process optimisations and support strategic decisions.

Initiate, manage and implement process optimisation projects (Lean Management), taking into account measurability through operational KPIs that you independently determine and evaluate. Take responsibility, in collaboration with other departments and sites, for the analysis, standardisation and optimisation of warehouse processes. Conduct process analyses with the aim of optimising work procedures, work contexts and their instructions. Work confidently with Lean Management techniques and concepts such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work and know the basics of creating BPMNs (Business Process Models). Independently conduct training for new and existing processes and create SOPs.

Professional experience in the described field and experience in leading projects, ideally in a logistics environment, is desirable. Knowledge of project management methods is desirable. Strong analytical thinking and good comprehension with the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with complex topics. High problem-solving competence and strong communication with stakeholders. Pronounced hands-on mentality. Good German and English skills.
