Zeppelin Baumaschinen GmbH has been the exclusive sales and service partner of Caterpillar Inc., the world's largest construction machinery manufacturer, in Germany since 1954 and is part of the Zeppelin Group. We are looking for a Field Service Mechatronician Construction Machinery (f/m/d) for our Hamburg branch at the earliest possible date.
What You'll Learn
- Your area of operation in your role as a service technician (f/m/d) in field service is the greater Hamburg area
- After prior training in our workshop you take on repair and maintenance work on construction machinery at the customer's site or at their job sites independently as a fitter (f/m/d)
- You are also responsible for damage assessment as well as repair and adjustment work on hydraulic systems and vehicle electrics as part of technical service
- Computer-controlled diagnostic and calibration work on electronic controls also falls within your area of responsibility
- Carrying out assembly and repair work on construction machinery and equipment components (engine, transmission, axles, hydraulics, electrics, etc.) complements your varied task profile

Requirements
- Training - You have successfully completed training as an agricultural and construction machinery mechatronician, as a commercial vehicle mechanic or similar training
- Practical experience - You also have experience with repair and maintenance work, ideally in field service, and have knowledge in the areas of engines, hydraulics, electrics and electronics
- Driving license - You have a valid class B driver's license
- Customer & service orientation - A strong customer and service orientation are among your strengths
- Doer & team player – Commitment, teamwork and resilience characterize you
- Language skills - Good German skills and basic English skills round off your profile
