CNC Machinist

ZF is looking for a CNC machinist for its Bielefeld site. You will be part of a dynamic, international company producing high-quality products in a safe, clean and flexible working environment.

• Independently setting up, preparing and running in CNC turning and CNC milling machines as well as machining centers
• Operating and monitoring Weisser, EMAG and Haas machines
• Confident handling of Siemens and Fanuc controls, including zero point shifts, tool and wear corrections and necessary program adjustments
• Selecting suitable tools and measuring them with a tool presetting device
• Manufacturing and inspecting components according to technical drawings, work plans and production documents
• Monitoring production processes and carrying out dimensional and quality checks with suitable measuring and testing equipment
• Optimizing machining processes, tool life, setup times and process stability

• Completed technical vocational training, ideally as a machining mechanic (m/f/d), CNC turner (m/f/d), CNC milling machinist (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Practical experience in CNC turning and/or CNC milling; knowledge of both methods is especially welcome
• Experience in independently setting up, preparing and running in CNC machines
• Knowledge of Siemens and/or Fanuc controls; willingness to learn the other control system
• Confident reading and implementing of technical drawings as well as understanding of dimensions, tolerances and surface specifications
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift operation and to do overtime when required by the company
