Apprenticeship as Electronics Technician for Operating Technology at the Regional Center Bad Lauchstädt

You are excited by working with machines and electronics and enjoy hands-on work? The subjects mathematics, computer science and physics fascinate you? Your strengths include teamwork, logical thinking, care and patience? Then we are looking for YOU starting August/September 2027! Complete your apprenticeship as an electronics technician for operating technology together with 50Hertz and gain valuable experience at the transmission system operator for northern/eastern Germany and lay the foundation for your high-voltage professional development. High voltage is guaranteed! Your basic training takes place at our cooperation partner bze – Bildungszentrum Energie GmbH at the Halle site. There you will learn everything about the installation and maintenance of electrical systems as well as measurement, control and regulation technology, in order to subsequently understand the functioning of our switching and control systems, substations and lines at 50Hertz. Your examination takes place – as usual – before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).

Apply the learning content where the energy transition is implemented and the power supply for 18 million people is ensured around the clock; participate in projects, e.g. execution and further development of our maintenance; implement planning in appropriate quality; carry out function tests and commission technology; execute tasks on time and with quality; determine causes of technical malfunctions.

(Upcoming) school leaving certificate with good to very good grades; interest in the energy transition and electrical engineering topics; motivation to learn new things and take responsibility for first own projects; sense of duty, structured approach and initiative; manual dexterity and good basic technical understanding; teamwork, perseverance and care; willingness to work outdoors and to travel mobile through our grid area; good to very good command of German language in word and writing (C1).
