Apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Regional Center Mitte Charlottenburg

Are you interested in machinery, electronics and practical work, with strengths in mathematics, computer science, physics, teamwork, logical thinking and independent work? At 50Hertz, you will complete an apprenticeship as an electronics technician for industrial engineering. Your basic training will take place at the ABB Training Center Berlin and OSZTIEM vocational school in Berlin. You will learn about installing and maintaining electrical systems as well as measurement, control and regulation technology.

As part of the apprenticeship, you will learn to carry out functional tests on measurement, control and regulation technology; test digital and electronic devices using testing equipment; inspect circuits and cabinet wiring using technical drawings; commission equipment and perform functional tests; and identify the causes of technical malfunctions. You will also learn how switchgear and control systems, substations and power lines work.
