Practical Semester in Maintenance

We are a large, highly modern maintenance department in the aviation industry. You start with a comprehensive induction in which you get to know our machines, processes and the team, and then take on real responsibility during your practical semester in Varel.

• Become a machine whisperer: You help us systematically assess machine conditions and detect potential faults early (condition monitoring)
• Make processes flow better: You take on your own project to analyse and sustainably optimise our area of fluid management (cooling lubricants, hydraulic oils, etc.)
• Hands-on problem solving: You work right at the interface between theory and practice and develop concepts that make our maintenance even more efficient

• You are an enrolled student in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree program
• You want to finally apply theoretical knowledge to real, large machines in the aviation industry
• Ideally, you have some initial interest in topics such as maintenance, tribology or fluid technology
• You have an analytical mindset, are communicative and like to get stuck in yourself
