Dual Study Program B.Sc. Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence starting 01.09.2027

Start your future at Airbus Friedrichshafen! Are you curious about technology and want to help shape the world of tomorrow? Then an apprenticeship or degree at Airbus is just right for you! From the cloud to AI-supported medical devices to augmented reality: Computer science is firmly anchored everywhere in our daily lives today. Due to the high dynamics of technology, new opportunities and challenges in computer science are constantly emerging. In the dual study program in computer science, you will deal with the systematic analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of software systems designed for a long service life. You will learn programming languages, algorithms, and data structures to develop efficient solutions for complex problems. In the “Artificial Intelligence” specialization, the following topics are covered: AI algorithms and methods, Ethics & Law, Scientific Programming Lab, Web Engineering, Network Technology, Data Analysis, Modeling, Simulation, Big Data, Data Mining, Databases, Advanced AI Lab, Machine Learning, Speech and Image Processing, IT and Cloud Architectures for AI Systems, Information Retrieval, Semantic Web. Your location: Airbus Friedrichshafen (Immenstaad) – Innovation meets quality of life. At the Airbus site Friedrichshafen, you shape the technologies of tomorrow – with a view of Lake Constance. While you relax in our canteen at lunchtime, you enjoy the Alpine panorama. After work, our diverse company sports groups offer the perfect balance – whether jogging, sailing, or skiing. The Dual University campus is reachable by bike in just 15–20 minutes. Friedrichshafen is the center for groundbreaking developments in the fields of satellites, probes, and instruments for Earth observation, navigation, meteorology, and space research. Furthermore, we are leaders in the development of reconnaissance and surveillance systems, avionics solutions, unmanned aerial systems, obstacle warning systems, command and communication systems, as well as mobile hospitals and sensors for air and space reconnaissance. In our modern training laboratories, you will receive a solid and versatile technical foundation that you can directly deepen in a practice-oriented manner in the respective departments. Your training is complemented by an individually designed course of study with competency and project days in which you build key qualifications in a targeted manner. Thanks to small teams and personal support, you can continuously develop and optimally unfold your individual strengths.
