Apprenticeship as Surface Coater

The fascination for flying is what unites our employees at Airbus Helicopters Technik GmbH. With currently more than 570 employees at the Kassel/Calden site, including 24 apprentices in the fields of industrial mechanics, machining and surface coating, we are building our workforce of tomorrow. What is more beautiful than flying? Making it possible! At the start of the apprenticeship, you will receive a three-month basic training in metalworking at the Vocational Training Center in Kassel. Afterwards, your assignment in the Special Processes area at our site begins. There you will be trained primarily in galvanizing. Your vocational school instruction takes place as a block course at the Technical Vocational College in Solingen. For the duration of vocational school, you will be accommodated in the affiliated school dormitory. Since social interaction is also very close to our hearts, events such as family days, joint expert excursions and trade fair visits as well as flight hours with an ultralight aircraft are a fixed part of our schedule. • What you bring:
• You have at least a good lower secondary school certificate or intermediate school certificate or a (technical) high school diploma
• Your manual dexterity and interest in technology characterize you
• You have a good spatial imagination
• You are familiar with common MS Office programs
• As a team player, your team can rely on you
• You perform your work reliably and carefully
• Your very good German skills and at least basic knowledge of English, plus the willingness to deepen them, round off your profile
