About this Apprenticeship
Airbus Helicopters Technik GmbH is seeking an electroplating worker in Calden. The team treats and finishes the surfaces of helicopter gearbox and drive components. The position is permanent.
What You'll Learn
- Manually clean high-value components and remove rust and paint
- Prepare, set up, operate and monitor equipment
- Take samples for quality checks
- Document inspection results
- Care for equipment and carry out maintenance
Requirements
- Completed training in a skilled trade or industrial occupation
- Alternatively, professional experience in metalworking
- Manual dexterity to work on high-value components
- Good spoken and written German
- Careful handling of hazardous substances and confidence working in protective clothing
- Willingness to work two shifts or, if needed, three shifts
- Awareness of possible compliance risks and commitment to acting with integrity to support the company's success, reputation and sustainable growth
