Generalist nursing training with lessons at the central school and practical placements in hospitals, psychiatric specialist clinics or elderly care facilities.

Learn to care for people of all ages in somatic care, psychiatry and long-term care; assess individual care needs and actively participate in the care process; support the planning, delivery and quality assurance of nursing measures; provide patients and relatives with professional and empathetic support; obtain the generalist professional qualification as a nursing professional after four years.

At least an intermediate secondary school certificate or an equivalent qualification; enjoyment of working with people and an interest in medical and nursing topics; very good German skills, at least B2, both spoken and written; reliability, teamwork and willingness to learn; motivation to pursue a meaningful career with excellent future prospects.

Generalist training combining theory and practice; training salary under AVR-Caritas: €1,490.69 in the first year, €1,552.07 in the second year and €1,653.38 in the third year; personal tablet and job ticket; individual support, trainee events and diverse further training and development opportunities; opportunity to complete a nursing bachelor's degree alongside the training.
