The Alexianer residential community St. Monika at St. Joseph Hospital Berlin-Weißensee offers around 100 places in housing and care services for people with addiction disorders, dual diagnoses and mental health impairments. A multiprofessional team supports clients toward stability, social participation and an addiction-free, self-determined life.

• Nursing care and support of people with addiction disorders and mental health impairments in therapeutic shared housing
• Support with coping with everyday life, promoting independence and social participation
• Observing health condition and contributing to support services and documentation
• Help with social and administrative matters and in crisis situations
• Close cooperation in an interdisciplinary team of nursing, social work and therapy

• Completed training as a registered nurse, nurse, geriatric nurse, nursing professional, health and nursing carer or curative education nurse (mwd)
• Empathy and enjoyment of working with people with addiction and mental illness
• Experience working with people with mental illness is desirable
• Team spirit, organizational skills and responsible working
• Interest in participation and care concepts in addiction medicine
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Positive attitude toward the Christian values of the Alexianer
