About this Apprenticeship
The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin is seeking a full-time Guest Experience Supervisor to start as soon as possible. The role involves leading Front Office and Guest Experience shifts and looking after guests, with particular attention to VIPs and returning guests.
What You'll Learn
- Independently lead a Front Office / Guest Experience shift
- Provide personal service to guests, especially VIPs and returning guests
- Handle check-ins, check-outs and guest billing
- Coordinate all arrivals and departures and organise VIP amenities and services
- Ensure smooth operations and excellent service quality
- Handle complaints professionally and communicate with guests across all channels
- Maintain guest profiles and process feedback
- Work closely with all departments
- Support, guide and train the team
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in hospitality or food service
- Several years of experience in Front Office or Guest Relations, ideally in luxury hotels
- Some leadership experience or experience as a supervisor or shift leader
- Strong knowledge of complaint handling
- Very good spoken and written German and English
- Confident use of property management systems, such as Opera, and MS Office
- Strong hosting skills and enjoyment of daily contact with guests
- Professional conduct, a well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Confidence, organisational skills and the ability to learn quickly
- Teamwork, a practical approach and motivation to take responsibility
- Passion for hospitality and attention to detail
