We are looking for an Assistant Director of Catering & Conference Services (m/f/d) full-time, starting immediately.
What You'll Learn
- Sales and organizational planning of events, conferences and catering
- Creation of individual event/room offers and contracts, as well as invoices
- Achievement of all budget targets as well as individual customer advice and support for all event questions
- Ensuring smooth processes through structured, goal-oriented action and analytical understanding
- Acting as contact person for event organizers on site and cross-departmental coordination
- Communication with various suppliers needed for event planning
- Conducting hotel tours and personal coordination appointments
- Conducting employee development meetings
- Support in building the team structure
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in events within a hotel, as well as relevant professional experience in a similar position
- Sound computer skills and confident use of the Opera program and Microsoft Office applications
- Warmth and confident demeanor
- Sales and organizational talent
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Professional leadership qualities and personal commitment
- Independent and structured way of working and ability not to lose track
- Very good German and English skills in word and writing
- Passion for hospitality and attention to detail
