Business Analyst In-/Exkasso

As a Business Analyst (m/f/d), you work at the interface between the business department and IT and have the opportunity to understand complex relationships, co-design changes, and develop sustainable solutions. In doing so, you gain deep insights into the value chain of an insurance company, modern system architectures, and agile working methods. • In an agile project environment, you take over requirements from the KERN processes of insurance in the area of In-/Exkasso and ensure their successful implementation in cooperation with stakeholders and business tribes
• As an interface between the business departments and IT, you analyze technical requirements for new insurance products, from decommissioning projects, or from legal requirements, translate these into technical concepts with requirements for IT, and coordinate resulting follow-up activities within the InEx teams end-to-end
• In close cooperation with our developers, you accompany the implementation through the test phase to the successful roll-out and beyond
• You take care of the business benefit, conceptual work, coordination with interface partners, quality management, and technical approval including test acceptance in cross-divisional projects
• You take responsibility for production monitoring as well as the analysis and assurance of the resolution of reported production errors in close cooperation with developers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• You move in a complex system landscape in which you can understand and develop technical system relationships and interfaces well

• You have a completed degree in business informatics/computer science, business administration with a strong IT focus, or comparable vocational training
• Very good analytical thinking skills and a pronounced understanding of IT systems, especially the ABS architecture and data model, are among your strengths. Ideally, you have a good understanding of the development and optimization of billing systems or accounting through initial experience
• Your key to good cooperation with our customers is your very good communication skills and clear solution orientation
• You have sound experience with data modeling, SQL tools, and process modeling
• Knowledge of inventory and billing processes in insurance is desirable
• You bring agile experience and are willing to be part of an agile team and develop further there
• Negotiation-proficient German (C1/C2) and good English skills
• Experience in the application of forward-looking technologies (artificial intelligence, process mining) for the implementation of sustainable data analyses and data visualizations.
