Nursing Skills Centre (One-Year Programme)

One-year accessible entry programme by apm for people interested in nursing, especially those with a refugee background, preparing them for nursing training.

Attend nursing theory classes and vocational German lessons from A2 to B1, prepare for the lower secondary school-leaving examination and complete initial practical placements in nursing facilities or outpatient services.

Physical and medical fitness for work in nursing, sufficient language skills at approximately A2 level, around nine years of schooling desirable, plus empathy, enjoyment of working with people, interest in nursing, medical and social tasks, and teamwork.

Entry is possible even after the course has started. Financial support from the Employment Agency or Jobcenter may be available, and further funding options are discussed.
