Competence Centre for Nursing Care (1 year)

Care for Integration (CFI) is an accessible entry program for people interested in nursing who face barriers to vocational training. The one-year Competence Centre for Nursing Care supports entry into nursing, provides a care-assistant qualification under §53b SGB XI and job-specific German, prepares participants for the lower secondary school certificate and offers initial practical experience.

Initial practical placements in nursing facilities and/or outpatient services.

Physical and medical suitability for employment in nursing; sufficient language skills, approximately A2, with no certificate required; around nine years of schooling would be desirable, but certificates are not required; empathy, enjoyment of working with people, interest in nursing, medical and social tasks, and the ability to work in a team.

Starting after the course has begun is possible. Financial support from the Employment Agency or Jobcenter may be available.
