Competence Center Nursing (1 Year)

Care for Integration (CFI) is designed as a low-threshold entry offer and is aimed primarily at people interested in nursing with training obstacles, to facilitate entry into nursing training and thus counteract the acute shortage of skilled workers in nursing. In particular, people with a history of flight benefit from this qualification measure. The program has been offered by apm since 2016 in North Rhine-Westphalia, since 2022 in Hesse, since 2023 in Baden-Württemberg, since 2024 in Bremerhaven, Hamburg and Thuringia, and since 2025 also in Berlin and Rhineland-Palatinate. The Competence Center Nursing is the first module of the "Care for Integration (CFI)" program. The "Competence Center Nursing" offers you a low-threshold entry into nursing and is for everyone seeking a meaningful professional future. Entry is also possible after the course has started! Nursing theoretical instruction including qualification as a care assistant according to §53b SGB XI. Job-specific German lessons (from A2 to B1). Preparation for the lower secondary school leaving certificate (grade 9). First practical assignments in nursing facilities and/or outpatient services. Health/physical suitability for employment in nursing.

Sufficient language skills (approx. A2, certificate not required). School education of about 9 years would be desirable (certificates not required). Empathy, enjoyment in dealing with people, interest in nursing, medical and social tasks, as well as teamwork skills.
