Apprenticeship as Healthcare Management Assistant

Asklepios Clinic Weißenfels is a hospital providing specialized care and an academic teaching hospital of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in southern Saxony-Anhalt, in the vicinity of Leipzig and near the A38 and A9 autobahns, with 410 planned beds in 13 specialized clinics and an attached medical care center. For our location in Weißenfels we are looking for an apprentice (f/m/d) as Healthcare Management Assistant starting immediately.

• During your apprenticeship as Healthcare Management Assistant (f/m/d) you will learn all facets of our clinic administration with a focus on patient management
• You will be deployed in various departments, e.g. outpatient and inpatient patient admission/billing, medical controlling, quality management, human resources as well as finance and accounting
• You will learn methods and instruments of modern office communication and coordination
• You will learn to use modern communication and application systems with a focus on the hospital information system (KIS Orbis) and handle telephone and written communication with patients, health insurance companies, authorities
• After onboarding, you may work independently and take on initial responsibilities for your own tasks

• You have a very good secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss) or a good (technical) high school diploma (Abitur)
• You have very good manners
• You enjoy dealing with people
• Openness and friendly communication towards our patients, employees and business partners is important to you
• You are committed and proactive
• You enjoy working with modern work and communication tools
• You are interested in administrative processes and organizational tasks related to healthcare
