Munich is many things, above all a cosmopolitan city, a community and a task. Munich needs people who are committed to this city with over 1.5 million inhabitants and want to shape the state capital with their professional tasks. Around 43,000 employees already ensure that everything works well in Munich: not only in administration, but also in waste management, traffic planning, social citizen centers, city gardening, schools and daycare centers as well as many other fields. Daycare centers are facilities for elementary school children for education, upbringing and care during non-school hours or within the framework of the Innovative Project School and thus represent an important building block of all-day education. The groups in the daycare center correspond to the classes or are organized by grade level. They should generally not exceed a size of 25 children. All daycare centers are under municipal sponsorship. At the locations, both children and educational staff are provided with a lunch. The children receive a snack in the afternoon. Permanent cooks are sought at the 3 locations. The technical and service supervision lies with Department A.

Completed vocational training as a cook (for foreign qualifications, recognition of equivalence by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce); Sound technical knowledge in food preparation and safe handling of large-scale kitchen technology (strongly pronounced); Sense of responsibility, in particular cooperation and conflict resolution skills (very strongly pronounced); Comprehensive knowledge and implementation of relevant laws and regulations, in particular the Infection Protection Act, labor law, liability, the company-specific HACCP concept and the Food Hygiene Ordinance (strongly pronounced); Experience in catering for children (desirable)
