Legal Trainee Media Law

Legal traineeship at Axel Springer Legal in the "Content & Litigation" team, which advises editorial and commercial departments on defamation and copyright law.

• Join the day-to-day and project work of our in-house lawyers to gain practical experience
• Independently handle current questions on defamation law, copyright law, general civil law, cost and procedural law and press ethics to gain varied insights
• Work closely with the whole legal team and editorial and commercial departments to create sustainable solutions together
• Support us in preventive legal advice for various print and online editorial teams

• You passed your 1st state law examination with at least "satisfactory"
• First journalistic experience, for example through a traineeship or as a freelancer, is an advantage
• Relevant basic knowledge of media, copyright, civil, and cost and procedural law is an advantage
• You work independently, systematically and carefully
• You can use MS Office, are familiar with social media and feel at home in the digital world
• You have excellent German (at least C1) and good English skills
