SAP Basis Administration

B. Braun is seeking someone to join its ERP Basis Platform team at its headquarters in Melsungen as soon as possible, working in SAP Basis Administration. Part of Infrastructure & Operations, the team handles the technical design, implementation, lifecycle management and operation of B. Braun's SAP systems and SAP database environments.

• Develop concepts, design, plan and implement global SAP environments, taking cloud technologies, high availability, round-the-clock operation and security requirements into account
• Develop and introduce approaches for deploying, monitoring, administering, securing and operating complex SAP environments, and continually improve them
• Ensure SAP systems remain stable, available, reliable and efficient
• Develop and implement innovative solutions for SAP Print, SAP Frontend Management and SAP Monitoring, and drive their further development
• Plan, manage and carry out lifecycle and technology projects in SAP on-premises and cloud architectures
• Create solution documentation and operating procedures

• A completed degree in computer science or business informatics, or comparable vocational training with several years of relevant practical experience
• Strong knowledge and experience in implementing, administering, monitoring and operating complex SAP environments
• Ideally, several years of practical experience with applications closely related to SAP Basis, SAP authorizations and change management
• Experience with SAP HANA database technology, SAP CALM and cloud technologies for SAP solutions is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP Data Volume Management
• Very good spoken and written German and English
• Ability to work confidently within complex organizational structures and maintain an overview in demanding situations
