Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master (f/m/d) for automated infusion systems at B. Braun Avitum in Melsungen, you support the development of modern, safety-critical software for innovative infusion pumps and infusion management solutions.

• Coaching and supporting one or more agile software development teams in the field of active medical devices
• Promoting agility, self-organization and continuous improvement within the teams
• Close collaboration with Product Owners and software, system and adjacent hardware development
• Promoting cross-team and cross-department collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Ensuring an efficient development flow and identifying and removing impediments
• Facilitating and organizing all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective)
• Supporting the establishment and further development of agile ways of working in the medical technology environment
• Close coordination with adjacent areas such as quality management, regulatory affairs, IT/cloud engineering and production

• Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification or equivalent practical work experience
• Several years of experience working with Scrum teams, ideally as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach or similar
• Very good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and confident use of Scrum and other agile frameworks
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration with development teams from other areas (e.g. embedded software, systems engineering, cloud, DevOps)
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to motivate teams, actively support change and establish sustainable improvements
• Structured, analytical way of working and strong initiative
• Confident use of agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub Actions or similar systems
• Very good English skills, written and spoken
• Strong communication skills and a high level of empathy
