Laboratory Manager Asphalt Technology and Quality Management

For SWA Südwest Asphalt GmbH & Co. KG, Basalt AG is looking, starting immediately, for a full-time laboratory manager (m/f/d) for asphalt technology and quality management at the Iffezheim site.

• Your expertise makes the difference – you work closely with internal departments, engineering offices and authorities and are actively involved in expert committees of the Research Society for Roads and Traffic (FGSV).
• You are well connected – and provide technical guidance to our materials testers, plant managers and sales staff (m/f/d) and support them with quality-related questions.
• You keep the overview – in designing and leading internal projects focused on asphalt and building material recycling.
• You are on site – and take over construction site support, analyse quality deviations and are responsible for professional complaint management.
• You are in the thick of it – and are responsible for the factory production control at our six sites in Baden-Württemberg in asphalt and building material recycling in line with the applicable standards and technical regulations.

• You have a successfully completed university degree, ideally in civil engineering.
• You have at least three years of professional experience in a comparable position, preferably as deputy or lead person responsible (m/f/d) for quality assurance in building materials.
• You are open to new technologies and actively drive innovation in the laboratory.
• You work proactively and independently and communicate clearly, transparently and in a focused way.
• You are fit in MS Office, especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• You have a valid class B driving licence.
