Project Manager Permits Landfill, Recycling, Backfilling

For our Environment, Raw Materials, Properties department in Wiedemar (near Leipzig), we are looking for a Project Manager Permits Landfill, Recycling, Backfilling (m/f/d) full-time, starting immediately.

• You coordinate and manage permitting procedures for landfill, recycling and backfilling sites in accordance with legal regulations (e.g. KrWG, DepV, BBodSchV, EBV, BBergG, BImSchG, BauGB, WHG etc.)
• You support the permitting procedure in the strategic and technical planning and execution of new and expansion projects
• You prepare permit applications and accompany and evaluate expert reports (e.g. on soil, waste, geology, nature, water and more)
• You develop site concepts, recycling, backfilling and landfill plans as well as feasibility studies
• You hold expert discussions with authorities, public interest bodies and other stakeholders and independently handle stakeholder management

• You have a successfully completed university degree, preferably in a technical or scientific field (e.g. civil engineering, geology and geosciences, environmental engineering, environmental science and others)
• You have several years of professional experience in permit management and have already successfully completed industry-specific permitting procedures (especially for landfills DK 0 or DK 1).
• Experience in the technical planning of landfill projects is also an advantage.
• You are proficient in MS Office, especially MS Word / MS Excel / MS PowerPoint. It is desirable if you also have first experience with planning-specific software (e.g. AutoCAD, GIS etc.).
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interacting with colleagues set you apart.
• Your strengths include organizational ability and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• You have a valid class B driver's license.
