About this Apprenticeship

As the Legal & Compliance unit, we are responsible for safeguarding the legal interests of the Agricultural Solutions division (AP). We are responsible for the independent and autonomous advice of the Agricultural Solutions division of the BASF Group in all legal matters, including the decision of legal questions, and we ensure the legally compliant behavior and compliance of the company and its employees.

What You'll Learn

In your new position, you will comprehensively support the Agricultural Solutions division in legal issues and contribute to responsible decisions with well-founded legal assessments.
Together with your colleagues, you support legally compliant actions by the company and its employees and communicate legal contexts understandably and practically.
In close cooperation with internal and external partners, you bring the legal perspective into the exchange with politics and authorities and support joint interest representation.
In addition, you design and conduct legal training courses that support colleagues in safely integrating relevant legal requirements into their daily work.
Last but not least, you draft and negotiate contracts with various partners and jointly develop viable and legally secure solutions.
Together with us, you promote a corporate culture that lives the responsible use of AI and firmly integrates it into daily collaboration.

Requirements

Completed second state examination in law or a comparable legal qualification with distinction
Sound knowledge of civil law and enjoyment in contributing this understandably and solution-oriented into collaboration
Sound knowledge of public law and interest in collaboration at the interface with politics and authorities
Very good communication skills in German and English, ideally with international experience
Appreciative and clear communication, team spirit and empathy, as well as a self-organized, responsible and learning-oriented way of working
A digital, future-oriented mindset and the motivation to use AI as an opportunity to improve processes and ways of working
