Internship in Fungicide Discovery Research

Internship starting in March 2027 in the Advanced Fungicide Biology & Agronomy unit at BASF Agricultural Solutions. You will help test the biological effects of new fungicide ingredients and conduct laboratory and greenhouse experiments. Your own research questions may form the basis of a final thesis.

• Help test the biological effects of active ingredients in fungicide discovery research and gain practical experience in the laboratory and greenhouse.
• Plan experiments and prepare crops, harmful fungi, inoculum and the active ingredients to be tested.
• Take an active part in applying active ingredients to economically important crops and conducting biological experiments.
• Evaluate the experiments and document the results.
• By agreement, investigate your own questions to improve and develop existing experimental methods, which may also form the basis of your final thesis.

• Currently studying agricultural sciences, agriculture, horticulture or a comparable subject.
• Basic knowledge of plant pathology.
• Interest in practical research with plants and harmful fungi.
• Very good German and English language skills.
