Apprenticeship as Hotel Specialist with Additional Qualification in Hotel Management

You will learn two additional foreign languages and also gain insights into hotel management as a valuable extension of your qualification profile.

• Front office: checking guests in and out and looking after them, creating reservations, looking after hotel guests
• Insights into yield management
• Event management: conducting sales talks, processing and booking conference requests and events
• Housekeeping (professionally keeping a hotel in order)
• Serving food and drinks, bar service, preparing simple dishes
• Looking after conferences and events with preparation and follow-up including invoicing
• Corresponding with international guests and suppliers
• Insights into marketing and controlling (strategies, budgets, events)
• Learning three foreign languages (English, French and Spanish)
• Insights into hotel management

• At least a complete technical college entrance qualification
• Flexibility and resilience
• Good manners, a well-groomed appearance and a confident demeanor
• Good expression and formulation skills as well as interest in foreign cultures and languages
• Strong communication skills and customer orientation
• Enjoyment of commercial activities as well as planning and organizing
• First experience in gastronomy desirable
